Nani’s Braided Look in The Paradise: Srikanth Odela Shares Creative Inspiration

Nani’s Braided Look in The Paradise: Srikanth Odela Shares Creative Inspiration. A few days ago, Nani unveiled the first-look poster of The Paradise, showcasing his character with two long braids and a beard. Nani excited fans recently by revealing the first look poster of his upcoming film The Paradise. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the poster immediately caught the eye with its striking visuals.

The poster generated significant buzz and boosted excitement ahead of the film’s release. His striking appearance—featuring two long braids, a beard, two nose rings, jewelry, and sunglasses—became the major talking point. On Monday, Nani further excited audiences by sharing a behind-the-scenes teaser showing how the iconic poster was shot.

Nani’s Shoot for The Paradise Begins

In the video, set inside a jail-like interior, hundreds of extras create a chaotic atmosphere by banging steel plates against the walls. Amidst this controlled chaos, the crew maneuvers camera equipment in the center of the scene. Director Srikanth Odela explains the concept behind the hero’s introduction: as the hero counts his dips—“one, two…”—the surrounding noise intensifies.

When the count reaches “five hundred and ninety-nine,” the sound erupts, amplifying the havoc and energy of the moment. This immersive setup aims to powerfully highlight the hero’s presence.

The Inspiration Behind Nani’s Braided Look

The teaser features a striking shot of Nani flexing his shoulders and smoking a cigarette, captured from behind with a powerful background score. The director adds a warning: “You touch his braids… and see him lose his temper,” just before the title card appears, leaving viewers eager for more.

Nani shared the video captioned, “We went all in. He declared, “We are ready to go all out now.” Wrapped up an intense one. Gearing up for the next schedule.” The Paradise is slated for release on March 26 next year.

This marks the second collaboration between Nani and director Srikanth Odela, following their successful partnership on Dasara, which was both critically acclaimed and a commercial hit.

Nani’s latest film, HIT: The Third Case, saw him portray a tough cop named Arjun Sarkaar. Released on May 1, 2025, the movie premiered in five languages, expanding its reach across diverse audiences. It was produced under Nani’s own banner, Wall Poster Cinema, marking a notable milestone in his career.
