ISKCON to host Rath Yatra on June 29

As the spiritual fervour of the Jagannath Rath Yatra spreads globally, ISKCON devotees in Prayagraj are preparing to celebrate the sacred chariot festival on June 29.

The yatra will begin at 4:00 PM from Hira Halwai Crossing and culminate at the KP Ground, passing through Subhash Chauraha and Hanuman Mandir, as reported by TOI.

ISKCON Prayagraj has scheduled the procession on a Sunday to allow greater participation, with temple president Achyuta Mohan Das stating their intent to extend blessings to more devotees.

In a reflection of the festival’s growing international resonance, followers of Lord Krishna also recently participated in a vibrant Rath Yatra in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The Indian Embassy highlighted the event on X, noting the participation of the Vice Consul and the Lord Provost of Edinburgh, who ceremonially swept the path before the chariot—a gesture rooted in humility and tradition.
